We did it!
Our 16th annual Drumstick Dash was a tremendous success!
We walked, we ran, we cheered, we raised some money…and we did a whole ‘lotta good for our homeless and hurting neighbors. For those of you that joined us Thanksgiving morning in Broad Ripple, thank you – we’re honored to have been a part of your holiday and sure can’t wait to do it again next year!
Your Impact
Those who ran and walked the Drumstick Dash provided much needed funds and advocacy for your Indianapolis neighbors facing homelessness. All event proceeds came directly to Wheeler, enabling us to provide shelter, food, and care to our neighbors. Here’s just a snapshot of what we accomplished together:
- Total registrations: 19,433 – the 2nd largest Drumstick Dash in history (20,136 people in 2016)!
- Total dollars raised: $865,000+ for Wheeler Mission – the most we’ve ever raised!
- Media coverage: 81 different news stories promoted Wheeler Mission!
- #OuttaTownDashAround: 500+ people participated around the country and around the world – an Army base in Iraq even dashed together! Check out our #OuttaTownDashAround pics here!
