Charlene never saw love and acceptance in her father’s eyes when he looked at her. All she saw was his indifference. She tried so hard to fill that void in her heart, but chasing after love from others led to heartache after heartache. At her lowest point, homeless with her young daughter, Charlene saw the sadness her daughter’s eyes and knew she had to find the kind of love that could heal her, inside and out. Coming to Wheeler changed Charlene’s life. Abandoned as a child, Charlene always felt worthless… discarded. Watch Charlene’s Story

Meet Dwight. He can’t thank YOU enough!

Despite growing up in a loving home, Dwight was bullied by other children and he was left scarred. The pain he carried after fueled his addiction to drugs and almost destroyed his relationship with his family. At Wheeler Mission, Dwight finally felt God’s love and is learning to cope with his struggles.
