Since 1893, our doors have been open to help those experiencing homelessness, hunger, and addiction.

They need help. They need healing. Most of all, they need hope for a new start. YOU make help, healing and hope possible at Wheeler! Through God’s love, and your support and prayers, people are transformed from hurting to hopeful.

Change Lives Now

Give once to help today. Give monthly to help all year.

Your $50 donation will provide 23 nourishing meals and care.

YOU can support someone’s journey from homelessness to hope.

Right now, on any given night in Marion County:

  • 1,567 people are experiencing homelessness
  • 273 are children
  • 172,510 people will go without any meals

Help starts with YOU! Your prayers. Your generous support. Your willingness NOT to look away from those in need.

YOU make OUR WORK possible!

What we do is born of what God has done.

remembering those in need Charlene never saw love and acceptance in her father’s eyes when he looked at her. All she saw was his indifference. She tried so hard to fill that void in her heart, but chasing after love from others led to heartache after heartache. At her lowest point, homeless with her young daughter, Charlene saw the sadness her daughter’s eyes and knew she had to find the kind of love that could heal her, inside and out. Coming to Wheeler changed Charlene’s life. Abandoned as a child, Charlene always felt worthless… discarded. Watch Charlene’s Story    Youtube
