It’s easy! No matter what you would like to do, you can easily raise money to help the homeless served at Wheeler Mission and make a real-life impact.

Examples of fundraisers:
- running in a marathon, like the annual Drumstick Dash held on Thanksgiving Morning!
- giving up birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, wedding gifts
- doing a tribute
- in memory of a loved one
- in honor of someone
- volunteering
Start a collection drive.
There are a variety of drives from which to choose (i.e. – fundraising, food collection, personal hygiene, linens, Christian literature, Easter baskets, school supplies, Christmas gifts, newborn baby needs, etc.).

We also have an ongoing need for Hygiene Kits. We ask that these Hygiene Kits (made with quart-sized ziplock bags) include the following personal-sized items: shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush. Optional and appreciated items include: razor, shaving cream, washcloth, deodorant, comb. Hygiene kit donations for our Shelter for Men can be dropped off at our donation drop off location at 205 East New York Street, Indianapolis, 46204.
Our Center for Women & Children and Men’s Residential Center guests typically stay with us for longer periods of time, and full-sized toiletry and hygiene items are needed and greatly appreciated. Full-sized items needed include: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, women’s hair styling products (including textured hair products), razors and shaving cream, and deodorant. Donations for women and children can be dropped off at 3208 East Michigan Street, Indianapolis, 46201. Donations for men can be dropped off at 205 East New York Street, Indianapolis, 46204.
