Because of YOU…we’re ready to get started!

A note from Allison Melangton.

Dear friend,
Thank you for your faithfulness in supporting Wheeler Mission as we work to make room for more women and children experiencing homelessness.

Thanks to you, we’ve made incredible progress. We’re well over three-fourths of the way to our goal, and the date is set for groundbreaking…November 13 at 10AM (EST)!

We’re humbled and filled with gratitude for God’s faithfulness and provision in this campaign. While we rejoice in how far we’ve come, let’s not forget that we’re still not done yet.

With $2.1 million left to raise, let’s keep our eyes on the finish until our goal is met.

From July through September, the Center for Women & Children received 4,253 calls for beds and services it couldn’t provide because it was full. And that’s 4,253 reasons why we HAVE to finish strong. With the incredible Indianapolis community rallying behind us, I have faith we’ll be there before we know it.

In addition, since planning began nearly two years ago, construction costs have increased. To make sure we have exactly what we need, we’re stretching our goal to $13 million. We are confident that this goal will allow us to serve those in our community who need help.

Join us on Facebook LIVE for the groundbreaking!

Join us live on Facebook on November 13 at 10AM EST. We’ll capture the celebration for you to experience right from your computer or mobile device!

Be sure to “like” and “follow” us on Facebook (@WheelerMission) and Instagram (@WheelerMission) so you don’t miss any of it!

Meet Korrine.

In the video below, you’ll meet Korrine and her young son David. There is so much hope in their journey, and I can’t wait to hear the many stories—just like theirs—that will be born out of this expanded Center. I hope this family’s words encourage you as much as they did me.

Thank you for your friendship. Together, we’re making room for hundreds more women and children, just like Korrine and David.

“I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.” (Psalm 9:1)
