Winter Contingency Monitor for Shelter for Men and Men’s Residential Center
Our Shelter for Men (SFM) and Men’s Residential Center (MRC) are looking for Winter Contingency Monitors. This position is responsible for assisting the Guest Services Coordinator in maintaining the security of the SFM and MRC. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing guest services at the Operations Room, accepting donations, checking men in for beds and meals, evening chapel service, and assisting in directing volunteers on duty. Job requirements include a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalency. The applicant should be reasonably computer literate and be able to lift forty pounds over his head. Winter Contingency Monitor for Center for Women & Children
Our Center for Women & Children is looking for several women to serve as a Winter Contingency Monitors. This position will perform limited intakes on Winter Contingency Guests by orienting them to the CWC, securing their belongings and addressing any additional personal needs they may have; provide supervision for guests assigned to her care and be available to assist with problem solving as needed; facilitate meal service by supervising the evening meal and ensuring that breakfast is provided in the morning; ensure that the WC laundry is completed on a daily basis; mediate disputes, and record the incidents leaving this information for the Evening Supervisor and Team Leaders; give counsel and guidance to residents when needed using scripture as guidance in all situations; distribute personal hygiene products, mats linens, etc. as needed; and attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions and will meet regularly with the CWC Evening Supervisor.
