Christmas Season Volunteer Needs
Christmas Time Volunteer Opportunities
Christmas Week Meal Service (December 22-28): FULL!
Christmas Carolers: Love to sing? We’d love to have volunteers come sing Christmas Carols for guests during meal service! For more information, contact us at KatieSeger@wmm.org
Christmastime Party: We hope to provide an encouraging, yet festive time for those staying at our locations in December. Groups and families are needed to spread the joy of Christmas and the love of Jesus by hosting a Christmas gathering. This opportunity would take place Friday or Saturday (Dec. 20th or 21st) in the evening and would require a brief volunteer application; for more information or to get an application, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Note: The Center for Women & Children is FULL, but we do need volunteers at our Men’s Residential Center and Shelter for Men. Co-ed or male groups only due to the nature of the programs!
Thrift Store & Donation Center: Many people in our community shop at our Thrift Store to provide Christmas gifts to their family. We need volunteers to help sort donations and stock the shelves making sure we have full inventory for those choosing Wheeler as their gift-buying location. For more information, please contact Katie at KatieSeger@wmm.org!
The Center for Women & Children hosts a special Christmas Eve service for the women staying at that location. We are in need of finger-foods and beverages! From cookies to cheese plates to meatballs to beverages, we would be so blessed for any donation! For more information, please contact us at KatieSeger@wmm.org!
Christmas decorating: If you, your family, children’s Sunday School group, etc. would like to make centerpieces for our location’s dining tables, we would be so grateful! Sometimes an encouraging note or simple decoration can really lift one’s spirit. For more information, please contact us at email@example.com!
