Volunteering at Wheeler Mission means more than just giving time. It means feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, cherishing those often times forgotten, serving the living God, and sharing the love of Christ!

Wheeler 101
Wheeler 101 is an orientation geared for those desiring to serve our guests & residents in a more hands-on manner. We invite anyone who is interested in knowing more about homelessness, Wheeler’s programs, volunteer opportunities, and much more!
Level One: High Involvement Volunteer Opportunities
For Christian individuals who desire to have consistent, personal influence with those staying at Wheeler Mission
Level One: Family & Group Hands-On Volunteer Opportunities
For families and groups interested in volunteering in a more hands-on way with guests and residents; one-time and regular volunteer opportunities available
Level Two: Thrift Store & Donation Center
For individuals, families, and groups who are interested in serving on a semi-regular basis (no application required)
Level Three: Meal Service, Housekeeping, and Other!
For individuals, families, and groups who wish to serve one or more times with no long-term commitment (no application required)
Community Service (for students or work professionals only)
For volunteers needing to complete service hours for class, scholarship, or work-related requirements
We do welcome volunteers under the age of 18, but they must be accompanied by a parent or adult while volunteering.
All volunteers must be on the schedule to volunteer.
