Our onsite custom heat treat chamber is designed by Nova Kiln for thermal pest eradication of our wood pallets and other lumber products. Heat is circulated throughout the chamber to raise the core temperature of our products to 140 degrees for 35 minutes to eliminate pest infestation and other common insects.
We are certified by AWIS (American Wood Inspection Services). Our heat treated wood products are in compliance with International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15 (ISPM 15) of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC). Once the heat treating process is finished, our wood products are stamped with an official IPPC stamp.

Pricing
Our pricing for heat treating is based on the volume of space that an item takes up in our kiln (total cubic inches). For example, the larger the pallet, the higher the cost; the smaller the pallet, the lower the cost.

To provide an accurate heat treating estimate, we need the width, length, and height of your items, and the total number of items you want to be heat treated. If you have less than a full load to treat, your items will be added with others and treated when the kiln is at full capacity. Full loads will be processed in the order that they are received. If you need a small quantity done before the total kiln capacity is met, there will be an additional cost. A discount is available for ongoing business.
