Be a volunteer
As a volunteer at Wheeler Mission, you’ll take a hands-on approach to helping change lives. Our volunteers get to know our guests in special ways that are only possible with gifts of time and face-to-face interactions. They are an integral part of our day-to-day operations. We’d love you to join them! You can choose to help with meal service, praise and worship, housekeeping, and more.
Corporate partnerships
Join like-minded businesses who choose to help people experiencing homelessness in our community. Various opportunities are available—from annual partnerships to single event sponsorships. However your business chooses to get involved, you’ll be proud in knowing you’re using your corporate resources and influences to help change lives right here in Indiana!
Fundraise for Wheeler
Fundraising for Wheeler Mission can be as simple as asking your friends and family to make a donation in honor of your birthday, or as involved as a church-wide yard sale. Whether it’s just you or a large group—raising $5 or $50,000—your contribution matters. Thank you for thinking about how you can raise money to help local men, women, and children in need.

As a member of Wheeler Mission’s staff, you’ll have more than a job. You’ll have a purpose and a passion. If you’re a dedicated, compassionate person who is selflessly driven to help people overcome their challenges and get back on their feet, we’d love to hear from you. Opportunities are available at various levels—including internships.
Attend events
Come out to support one of our annual events! There are opportunities throughout the year. Many events are local to Indianapolis—including our annual Drumstick Dash! Through your attendance as a participant or spectator, you’ll help support the life-changing work of Wheeler Mission, meet new people, and have fun!
