Our time on earth to make an impact for God’s kingdom is very short. But it all matters for the hope that others may come to know the love of Christ. We are not promised tomorrow, but we are given every moment to make the most of it.

At Wheeler Mission, we made the most of returning to everyday while still navigating through a pandemic. Though challenges linger, we started to see just how much we helped our most vulnerable population.

This year, we saw many turn to Wheeler for help, and we anticipate the need will be ever increasing. Every effort toward bringing help, hope, and healing to those experiencing homelessness, hunger, and addiction is not a waste of time; rather, it is making the most of that time and leaves an eternal impact on the souls we serve.

We encountered big challenges in 2020, but we also saw God’s goodness and provision show up in every time of need. We are continually grateful for all of the compassion and kindness from our community this past year.

You played a big part in the hope that was brought to our guests in such a difficult year. It is through your giving and ever-present partnership that we may celebrate “Stepping up” in 2020 and the years to come.

2019 was a record-setting year for Wheeler Mission. On a cold night in February, we sheltered 919 men, women, and children across our shelters—more people than ever before in our history. But thanks to your compassion, we were able to make room for everyone who needed our help!
