Wheeler Mission has renamed two buildings to honor Rick and Julie Alvis and their family for the legacy they have left at the mission. The Rick Alvis Shelter for Men & The Julie Alvis Center for Women and Children are the two largest facilities in the Wheeler Mission ministry that spans central and south central Indiana, including the Indianapolis and Bloomington communities.
