Here are a few things Rick Alvis, our President/CEO, would like to recommend to you.
Teen Missions Int’l: Old Testament Tabernacle on the move! Life-size display raising funds for AIDS orphans in Africa.
Indianapolis: A life-size replica of the Tabernacle, as described in the Old Testament, is on display through October 12 on the grounds of Mount Paran Baptist Church, 4001 N. Franklin Rd., Indianapolis.
This project is a ministry of Teen Missions International based out of Merritt Island, Florida and is used to raise critically needed funds to help meet the needs of the Aids Orphans and street children in five countries in Africa. To date, more than 18 million Africans have died with the aids virus, leaving an estimated 13 million orphans to make it on their own. With the support that is received through the tours of the Tabernacle, the mission is able to help these children with their daily needs.
The exhibit is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, and 1 pm through 4 pm on Sundays. Tours take approximately one hour and there is a suggested donation of $9.00 for adults and children 12 years and up, and $7.00 for children between the ages of 6-11. The exhibit will be open through October 12, 2014.
Reservation may be made by calling (317)-542-8200.
