Volunteering at Wheeler Mission means more than just giving time. It means feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, cherishing those often times forgotten, serving the living God, and sharing the love of Christ!
Thank you for your desire to get involved. Please select the links below for more information about how you or your family/group can begin volunteering at Wheeler Mission.
Level One: High Involvement Volunteer Opportunities & Wheeler 101
Interested in volunteering in a more hands-on way with guests and residents? High Involvement Volunteers are individuals, families, and groups who desire to have personal influence with those staying at Wheeler Mission.
Level Two: Thrift Store & Donation Center
For volunteers who are interested in serving at our Thrift Store regularly and receive training for these positions
Level Three: Meal Service, Housekeeping, and Other!
For volunteers who wish to serve one or more times with no long-term commitment required
Community Service (for students or work professionals only)
For volunteers (individuals and groups) needing to complete service hours for class, scholarship, or work-related requirements
We do welcome volunteers under the age of 18, but they must be accompanied by a parent or adult while volunteering. All volunteers must be on the schedule to volunteer.
